  I love the Skokie Lagoons. I like going kayaking there, I like going bird watching, I like to picnic there. I also enjoy just driving through as I go about the rest of my life because it’s so beautiful. Sometimes in late summer the duckweed gets out of hand, but I still love it. There aren’t enough spaces like this left on the North Shore.

  Good place to kayak, don't forget to pay for your kayak sticker. But there was only one porta-potty available, with that many parking spaces I don't know if that would be enough. Other than that it was a good place close to the I-94 expressway , alot of parking and a good ramp for kayaks.
